    I am a current tenant in one of Pintzuk Brown's Fairmount properties. I've lived here for nearly nine years and it's the only building I've known to be home since moving to Philly; that alone should tell you something. I'm sadly moving out at the end of the month since I'm getting married and we need more space. I'm a bit shocked by these negative reviews, as I've had an overall positive experience. The building was constructed in 1890, so yes, it's going to have some issues here and there and I've called in my fair share of repairs. When I initially moved here in 2015, the maintenance team was not very responsive, but that has since changed and based on personal experience, both the owner and maintenance are very quick to get issues solved. I've found PBRG to be a good company to rent from and have recommended them to friends. I've loved my time at this address and it's very bittersweet to be leaving.

    I currently rent an apartment from them. They are absolutely horrible. We were told the apartment would be cleaned before moving in and it wasn't. They continuously said they would be sending a cleaning crew out but never did. There were old clothes and dirty dishes left in the apartment from the previous tenant. It took 2 months to finally replace the dishwasher that was already broken when we moved in. Whenever we needed maintenance, it was like pulling teeth with these people. Worst of all the customer service by one of the managers, Steve. Unprofessional and completely useless. for your sake, I suggest using another management company.

    I am living in one of their units now and have only been here three months at this time. I love the location, but almost everything in my apartment is at least 20 years old and/or broken. I was informed on the day I moved in, NOT when I put down my deposit, that there were squirrels living in the walls, and that was why the previous tenant moved out. It also took 4 weeks for me to get a working dryer that was promised to be in the day I moved in. Every request moves at a snails pace and it is impossible to get maintenance on the phone. I am extremely upset that I moved into this apartment and I am greatly looking forward to the day I move out!! For anyone looking for a new apartment, do yourself a favor and make sure it is not managed by this company.

    Do NOT let your college students rent from these people! These are NOT safe properties. They will turn off the heat during nights through the winter. Rusted nails sticking out of staircases, personell coming into your property without permission or knocking (once when I had nothing on) there are no fire escapes when comparable buildings have them.

    Rented an apartment for our son from Pintzuk Brown. It is the worst rental society ever. Service for the apt. was at best was very bad. Upon moving out of the apt,. we received our deposit with quite a bit kept. They charged for light bulbs. which you can supply 3 houses for 5 years of blubs. It was 2 bedroom kitchen living room and a bath. Now there were NO fixtures for lights in bdrms or livrm. There were only 3 bulbs in the place. We came from Scranton Pa to help clean and make sure everything was in good condition. They said the place was filthy and they had to clean, Paint, shampoo the rugs and take out all the trash and pay for removal. put plug covers on. ALL Flase. People moved in within an hour and a half. When I called them I talked to a woman and she put me thru to a man named Steve, Steve was going to mail info out. Steve said he would call me back. Called several times and left msg (3 months). for Steve. never calls back. Renter beware!!
