Sue with compass was an absolute pleasure working with. Me and my fiancee are first time buyers and she made the process and experience so smooth! Not only did it go flawlessly but we had fun looking at different homes until we found our perfect home.

Extremely unprofessional with a lack of self awareness and the inability to adhere to contract requirements is the best way to describe realtor and seller's agent Lilian Franklin from Compass RE. She did not properly communicate with our buyer's agent and her client so when we showed up to the property 2.5 hours before settlement we were horrified to find the seller had not moved out. After being MIA for hours with no coordinated backup Lilian arrived to the property late only to blame her elderly client right in front of her when Lilian herself did a "walkthrough" of the property the night before to confirm we were all set. As a result of her inaction to ensure her client understood and respected the contract we were unable to settle as originally planned. The situation was so bad our buyer's agent's broker had to speak to Compass RE's broker. To Compass's credit their broker was extremely thoughtful, kind, and helpful. Also to their credit with the broker's help we worked things out and were able to reschedule settlement, but 8 hours of a living nightmare surrounded by legal issues ranging from mortgage company concerns to insurance liability is something that just shouldn't have happened. In my opinion you should look elsewhere for your realtor needs.

My boyfriend and I just bought our first home today (!!!) and we could not have done it without Meghan. From the second we met Meghan, she taught us everything about owning a home and the buying process, we just learned SO much from her. Meghan is so incredibly versed in her field: she knows the area like the back of her hand, she is a networking pro, and more than anything she continuously went to bat for us throughout the whole process. No matter how competitive the market was, Meghan made our experience as seamless as possible. As first-time home buyers we are beyond grateful for that, because it can get overwhelming, but she is right there with you. Not only did Meghan answer our texts and emails immediately, but she listened to what we were looking for, focusing on houses that aligned with our checklist. Meghan then exceeded our expectations by offering suggestions—Meghan is the reason we found our dream neighborhood and home, we didn’t even know the neighborhood existed before she told us to check it out. She’s truly a dream to work with and I would recommend her time and time again to everyone, from first-time buyers to long-time home owners. (She also has the most adorable golden retriever, so if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet him!) Thank you a million times to Meghan and her team at Compass Real Estate. My boyfriend and I are beyond thankful and thrilled to settle into our home!!

As a first time home buyer, now owner, make sure you get someone with a lot of experience. Didn't have a good experience at all and wish we had someone who would have known better or helped better. No replacement for experience and attitude. Always buyer beware and good luck.

I contacted Compass through Zillow. I reached out to Jen Crouse three times on Zillow. Finally I called the office and left a message after letting her employer know I didn't hear back. Jen called me and left a voice mail message advising, "You never reached out to me, I don't have any messages from you". No apology, just an attitude as if I had done something wrong by reaching out to her. I text her back advising I am interested in the property and looking to move quickly. She replied saying she would get back to me ASAP. The day passed and no call or text or email. The following day I followed up and again no apology, just "Something came up and I could not contact you yesterday". Jen went on to say she would call me that same day. I waited and reached out to her at 8:00 pm. Of course still no reply. About 30 minutes later when I asked should I call her office and speak to her manager she replied. Again no apology just, "I am busy and still working, I was right about to call you back" this is around 8:30 pm EST. I declined and said I would rather speak to her manager. Her reply again with no apology was "feel free to speak to my manager and do what you have to". All I can say is Compass should have been embarrassed to employee an agent like this. To date I have not heard back from Compass or even heard the words "I apologize". There are so many more caring and friendly agents, I would suggest a strong pass on this one.
