Dealing with these people has been an experience, to say the least. The women in that office are rude, short and quick to angry when they don't understand something. Somebody must be related to the owners, because that's the only way I can see then having a job there. They aren't on top of anything at all, and get defensive when you ask them to send someone out for repairs or to get rid of wildlife in the basement or roof/ceiling. They also can't do math or bookkeeping, and multiple time I have been over charged for things I didn't owe/already paid. On top of that I've been threatened with eviction or court because of their mistakes only to have them come back with an attitude about having to admit their mistake. (Oh and for a good portion of my lease, they were renting to me without a license.) Overall I wouldn't recommend renting from this company, it's not worth the trouble and semi-cheap rent. Save yourselves the aggravation.

DO NOT RENT WITH URBAN REALTY/STRONG PROPERTIES. Rented a row home with them for two years. The first year was relatively uneventful aside from a mouse sighting or two. The second year in the home we were infested with mice (catching atleast 3-4 a week) and it was nearly impossible to get the realty to help us with pest control. They only helped after we had an exterminator come to our house (on our own dollar) and tell us that the house was "not secure" and had openings from the outside that allowed mice in. PLEASE CONTINUE READING After moving out, we followed the protocol they gave us for clean up, ect. There was a large deduction from our security deposit return for missing keys (which were all returned and left in the house prior to leaving) and ONE missing air conditioner of the TWO they listed in the lease. The ONE air conditioner WAS RETURNED as it (i will admit) was taken on accident. After only reimbursing one person (out of four people) $50 from the $256 they deducted from the security deposit for the air conditioner, we complained. They replied that there was still one missing air conditioner. This absolutely untrue as they only provided us two, NOT THREE, air conditioners. Urban Realty is a scammer and will screw you over again and again. The property managers are rude and do not want to help you at all. Please reconsider if you are planning on renting with Urban Realty in Philadelphia. I cannot stress enough how much of a headache the last two years have been dealing with them.

I have had some terrible experiences with landlords and property managers across the city. These guys are awesome and helpful here. They have never given me any issues, and my house has been kept in amazing condition. Kelly and Gina are awesome!

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS LEASING OFFICE. After we moved out of our house after two years we did everything they asked of us. When we got our security deposit back we got charged for taking ONE air conditioner, the roommate we lived with returned that ONE air conditioner, and then after the fact these people told us that they provided us with THREE air conditioners and only two were returned. This is absolutely FALSE and they refuse to give us our money back. THEY HAVE BOTH OF THE AIR CONDITIONERS THEY PROVIDED US WITH (ONLY TWO) They also charged us for every single one of our keys except for ONE, saying that only one person returned ONE key. This is also FALSE. We all returned every single one of our keys. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT RENT WITH THEM.
