We met Mary Hogan, one of the top agents for Brooke and Co. Homes at an open house when we were just checking out some early interest in Philly. She was so nice and helpful, we decided to use her services to look for a home! She showed us quite a few options, and actually convinced us to look at just one more home, which is the one we chose. That would have been enough, but wait, there was the buying and closing process which was quite involved since we lived in NY and were selling a property first, then buying in PA. The process is so different and managing the expectations among all the groups of parties and interests was quite the series of ups and downs. Mary's calm and attention to detail, to moving the ball even if slowly along, and to keeping everyone abreast of the changes along the way was invaluable! We had three buyers for our home, each having to drop off due to issues with their financing, yet we wanted to keep our purchase alive. And the sellers were moving out of state to add yet another wrinkle. But she kept us all in line and it all worked out just fine. We would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell, and we would happily use her again.

Mary Hogan helped us find a home, and it was a great experience. I was referred by a mutual, she came highly recommended. She educated us on the process from start to finish so we would be prepared for every step along the way. She was honest and blunt about what could go wrong but also what her role was and our roles were in how to handle whatever came up. As it turned out very little went wrong, in fact the entire home purchase experience from determining what we could afford to choosing and viewing potential homes to making the final decision and going through the closing process was remarkably smooth. She's the best, we're so grateful for her guidance and expertise.

We recently sold a house via Mary in perhaps the smoothest transaction in the history of real estate. She handled everything leaving next to zero work on our end. The only hiccup came when we were the targets of a landscaping scam and she helped navigate that too without any impact on the sale. This was our third deal with Mary (she had helped us buy the house six years previously) and they all have been winners.

Mary was a wonderful agent for us. As first time buyers, there was a lot that we didn't know about house buying - from process to costs of renovation projects - Mary helped us figure it out. She knew the area, other agents and the market so well, and that wa s a huge asset to figure out whether we were over or under offering on a house. She was also proactive in finding houses that she thought would be a good fit, and an excellent voice of realism where necessary. Apart from that, she's also a pleasure to spend time with on the many -- MANY -- house viewings we did. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
